Our Journey

The Guru Gomkey Pandit Raghunath Murmu Heritage Trust began its journey with a single mission: to honor, preserve, and promote the invaluable cultural legacy of Pandit Raghunath Murmu — the visionary creator of the Ol Chiki script. Founded by a group of passionate individuals, the Trust set out to safeguard the unique identity of the Santali community, foster respect for their language, and highlight the rich traditions that have been passed down through generations.
Over the years, the Trust has worked relentlessly to achieve its goals through a variety of programs, including language preservation initiatives, cultural festivals, educational outreach, and community development projects. We have been fortunate to witness growing support from local communities, cultural organizations, and government bodies, all of whom share our belief in the importance of safeguarding indigenous heritage.
One of the Trust’s most significant milestones was the establishment of the Ol Chiki script as a symbol of pride for the Santali people. Founded in 2015 in San Francisco, GGPRMHT.org emerged from a vision of community support and mental health awareness. Over the years, we have grown into a trusted resource, implementing various educational programs and support initiatives to address mental health stigma. Our dedication to fostering understanding and providing compassionate resources has established us as a leader in mental health advocacy in the community.
